Firmware Version: :0.2.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 170303 Rel.59897n

I recently bought a Netgear d7000 to replace my BT superhub2 because of constant WiFi dropouts. The netgear d7000 had good ethernet & wifi speeds (35-38Mbs) but would not connect to my USB devices, so I replaced it with a TP Link Archer VR900v3. The VR900 connects to my USB devices but the ethernet & wifi speeds are both around 25Mbs.This is down on the netgear by over 10Mbs. Ive tried changing a few settings but nothing works. In the end I reset the VR900 back to factory setting & the speed was back to normal (35Mbs) but only for 1 day, it then went down to 25Mbs for ethernet & wifi. To confirm this is a problem with the VR900 I plugged the Netgear D7000 back in for 3 days & the speed was consistently above 35Mbs.I then plugged in the VR900,which worked great for 1 day,but then went down to 25Mbs again! Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Please login to the web interface of the VR900 and show us a full screenshot of the advanced-status page.

 

Meanwhile, with your device connected to the VR900, please run a speed test and send me the results. Please check the link speed as well, instruction as below:

Just a quick update. The speed has now stabilised at about 33Mb/s. Still not as fast as the Netgear d7000, but it will do.

You can change some wireless settings to optimize its performance. To change the wifi channel and channel width.

Hi,

 

From the picture attached, the SNR margin is lower than the normal values. You can refer to this.

 

So it is suggested to contact your ISP to verify the stability of the network connection at their end.
