Access Control not blocking

Firmware Version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 171128 Rel.42667n
Hi. I have setup Access Controls, Added Mac address's and switched on the feature however the machine (a laptop and xbox) are still able to access the internet. I cannot understand why? Is this because I have upgraded the firsmware to the new logo firmware?
