Hello,

there have some problem happen to the  router that I had just bought for 3 days.

The Internet  will be down suddenly,sometimes 10 mins ,sometimes  half an hour.

Then I reopen it. However, it will be down again and again.

I try some method. Like ,set primary DNS to 8.8.8.8,reset the router...

It still keep in the cycle..

The log has nothing to do with the current unstable connection issue.

 

Instead, there is an internal firmware you can install it to give it a go. I will email you that. 

 

After that, you can take some time to test its performance and stability.

Seems normal and works correct.

Hi Kevin,

 

I have got a MR6400 V3 using the same firmware and facing connection issues as well. Even in strong signal areas (75/100%) the 4G is constantly connecting and disconnecting sometimes every minute, sometimes it cannot connect anymore, after a hard reset it works again for a while. Yesterday i have set a daily scheduled reboot to see if this improves the situation.

 

When it is online the daily data usage is about 25GB, so you could say quite a heavy user.

 

Could you send me this internal (Beta?) firmware you mentioned in this thread as well to see if that solves my problem?

 

At the moment i am using firmware 1.6.00.9.1 v0001.0 Build 181022 Rel. 40644n.

Hardware version TL-MR6400 v3 00000001

Ps. on top of the scheduled reboot I also have set it to 4G only instead 4G preferred.

Hi Kevin,

 

The router does not accept the new firmware, error code 4503, also note the present hardware and firmware version in below image.

 

Unzipped your file, connected to router by lan cable when doing the upgrade.

I read somewhere that the error code 4503 means the firmware is not accepted because the region in the new firmware does not match the region of the router?

 

My router is bought in the Netherlands, so i guess i need either a Dutch or European firmware.

Hi Kevin,

 

This firmware installed correctly, did a reset to factory defaults afterwards. Now i have to wait for a 4G signal as we are out of range at the moment. (Vessel at sea)
