Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 build 20180926 rel. 60920

When i was updating my Deco M5 using the deco app, the feed back was:

Your Deco M5 Wi-Fi System is currently Up-to-date. Enjoy!

Firmware version

1.2.3 build 20180926 rel. 60920.

 

As i know the newest firmware is already 1.3.1 and mine is still year 2018 firmware. Even after I reset the modem, reset the Deco dan swapping the main deco, the result was still the same. Help please.

Where in the world are you?

i had a similar problem with three of my m5’s, the other two updated to v1.31 via the app but three didn’t so I contacted support via the app and they emailed me the software to do the update from my pc. The latest firmware has only been rolled out to certain regions, I think the rest of the world will have the firmware available soon. I think it’s only the USA and the Uk so far. Hope this helps.

What is the country version of the Deco M5 which you can find on the bottom label of the actual device, next to the model number. 

 

I checked the firmware release note, the 1.2.3 build 20180926 rel. 60920. is not an official one, may I know how did you install this firmware? 

 

Besides, you can try to disable the firewall or antivirus software on the front-end device/modem to give it a go.

Anyone have an update on this? This is definitely the problem. I've got several Decos. Some of they have different hardware versions so they won't update.
