Model: Archer VR900
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 160721 Rel.66177n

I have a weird problem with my VR900. Everything works great apart from my work VPN software that runs on a laptop. It uses a Fortinet VPN client and it connects fine but can't then get to anywhere or transfer any data. I have tried disabling the SPI on the router, turning on and off all the IPSEC forwarding stuff and even putting the laptop IP address in the DMZ and it still won't work. It works fine if I plug in my old router or if i connect on 4G with my mobile.

Its an SSL-based VPN client.

Is there anything else I can try? I am going to have to ditch the router if I can't find a resolution to this weirdness.

@I3enners

What is the current network diagram? How do you connect these devices together?

What kind of VPN the computer has connected? Please ensure that relative VPN passthrough has been enabled on the main router.

Meanwhile, how did you setup DMZ? Please show us a screenshot of it. And what is the current internet IP address and gateway of the VR900?

Good day.

@I3enners I have the same problem exactly using the FortiClient on a W10 laptop. Wired or 4G connections work fine, wireless doesn't. All passthrough ticks are on in the NAT settings of the modem (Archer 600 v2).

Please advise TP-Link.
