Model: Archer VR900
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 170303 Rel.59897n

Brand new Archer VR900 connected to Sky Fibre. V3 hardware and 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 170303 Rel.59897n firmware, which is the latest available.

I've been suffering packet loss since installing the router. If I run a ping 30 times I'll get 10-20% packet loss on the 2.4GHz wifi channel, and generally the ping will succeed 6-8 times and then lose one. The ping will succeed another 6-8 times before losing another packet.

On the 5 GHz channel those packets have an increased time in the region of 2000ms but they're not lost.

This is also a ping to a local computer (in the 192.168.x.x range) so it's a router problem and not a problem with my internet connection.

I've disabled ipv6, changed wifi channels, restarted the router and computers but the problem still exists, especially on the 2.4GHz channel.

Is there anything else I can try before I RMA this router?

@DE018

Is there any specific symptom? Like unstable connection or buffering?

Please show us a screenshot of the ping result.

What about the wired connection? Is it good?

Try to change different wireless channel of 2.4GHz, like channel 1, 6 and 11. Use channel width as 20MHz.

You can hard reset the router by holding the reset button/hole for 10s and reconfigure it to give it a go.

Besides, when and where did you buy this Archer VR900.

Good day.
