@Krulik

What do you mean that you cannot use virtual server once you changed it to wireless router mode? Please provide more information. And theoretically, changing operation mode won't affect the port forwarding/virtual server feature.

Can you see the virtual server feature on the web UI of TD-W8968?

What is the current internet IP of the router?

Good day.

@Krulik

After you changed it to wireless router mode, what is the internet IP address of this TP-Link router?

Please tell us the current network diagram as well.

Besides, you can show a picture of the virtual server's settings page.

Good day.

@Krulik

Hello, the internet IP address is the WAN IP address of the router, which you can find on the status page. And to make port forwarding work, it need to be a public IP address.

Besides, please use the computer in the same network to do the tests below and tell us the results.

A. Use LAN IP+port to test if the service can be accessed from LAN;

B. Use WAN IP+port on LAN PC to test if the port is opened.

Meanwhile, please disable the firewall and anti-virus software on the computer.

Any updates, just let us know.
