hi

once i bought this routor i got so much happy but when i found that there is a problem in iptv and a problem in opening the routors setting page through ethernet i felt like i got disturbrd

iptv works fine somtimes but somtimes cannot keep stability disconnecting the network suddenly 

main routors page doesnt open somtimes and somtimes it opens so slowly

Hello, how do you connect the IPTV to the TD-W8961N? As far as I know, the TD-W8961N does not support IPTV feature, while as you mentioned, the IPTV sometimes works properly, so I'm wondering whether we talk about the same thing. 

 

To access the web UI, we need connect device to the TP-Link router by wired cable or wifi. 

 

Except IP address, we can use domain name to access it, which is tplinkmodem.net. 

 

Besides, you can ping the gateway of the router which is 192.168.1.1 by default when you failed to login to the web UI.

ty but your solutions did not solve my issue really so i just have to wait until new firmware becomes released. to notice this modem is able to connect iptv devices through wifi and ethernet and i also use iptv over my satellite receiver which is capable of playing through. i knew how to enter ui setting page through that ip but what i complain about is why sometimes the router fails to open quickly or sometime fails to open it completely
