Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 0.8.0 v5004.0

Hi,

I have a VR500v. Nothing in advanced settings for bridge mode.

Is there a firmware update available?

Thanks for your help.

@spage

It is normal that the bridge mode does not have advanced settings.

It is just a pure modem in bridge mode which is used to synchronize the DSL connection, no configuration needed, no advanced settings supported.

Good day.

We are talking about two different things, The bridge mode he mentioned is the pure modem which is used to synchronize the DSL connection only, where the advanced feature is not available, while what you said is the WDS bridging function, which is used to boost wifi signal. They are totally different.

Configure the LAN IP address of the modem router in the same subnet as the root router. For example, the IP address of the root router is 192.168.1.1, the IP address of the extended router should be from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254.). 3 Go to Advanced > Wireless > Advanced Settings page. Locate the WDS section and select the checkbox to enable the WDS Bridging function. Page 105 of the manual..
