TP-Link VR 2800 problems with BroadLink device
Hi!
I try to connect a BroadLink 3335-P WiFi device to my TP-Link VR 2800v.
This is impossible, the device cannot connect.
When trying with my Windows 10 PC's hotspot the connection works fine.
I already disabled 5GHz but still not working.
The manual of the 3335-P chip says that it support 802.11b/g/n and 20/40Mhz bandwidth. Still no connection.
There must be something wrong with the router.
Thanks for support
Sven

Can TP-Link wifi be detected by the BroadLink device?
Any error message occurs after you tried to connect it to the TP-Link wifi?
Try to change the wireless channel of the Archer VR2800v, like channel 1, 6 and 11 for 2.4GHz, and channel 36, 40 or 44 for 5GHz.
Besides, try to change the wifi password and ensure that the firmware is up to date.
May it help.

Thanks for you reply.
I cannot examine if BroadLink device sees the WIFI network because it's kind of a headless device (thermostat).
I already tried several WIFI channels, with automatic and only 20MHz bandwidth.
Everything you mentioned has been tested.
Firmware is also up to date. Seems to be an issue with BroadLink 3335-P chips.
I have some other IoT devices from Espressif (ESP8285) and Tuya (TYWE3S) and they are working correctly.
However, I paired them trough Soft AP mode which is not possible with BroadLink device - this only support EasyConfig in the current device.
Thanks
