Model: TD-W9970
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 170919

Hi there, as per title I have a w9970 however I am plugging this into my existing WiFi network made of number of pre-interconnected WiFi routers, so I would need this device to be "just" an ADSL modem.

My ideal scenario is where the only connected device on the w9970 LAN (an Asus dedicated router) gets a public IP address on its WAN interface.

Is there any way to set up this device to be modem only?

Thanks!

@rs232

Thanks for your requesting. For your information, the TD-W9970 is the bridge mode/modem only by default.

You can hard reset it by holding the reset hole for 10s with it powered on to get the modem only.

May it help.
