Archer MR 400 won’t connect to the internet

I have a archer MR 400 it is supposed to be plug and play ?? There seems to be no support from tp link at all?
We have purchased this as our old HUAWEI mifi died so upgraded to the mr 400 , at the moment the only internet we have is via phone
I can't believe there is no support from tp link! All I have had is some one moaning that I reposted the problem!
we have a disabled son who at the moment has no internet!!
We have gone through the set up with our three sim
Which is compatible (WCDMA) the sim worked fine before and connected with no problems in old mifi box
in this mr 400 it connects for around 10 seconds then disconnects, we are no computer wizzes but there must be someone who can help resolve this problem?
its advertised as plug and play!
