Hi all

I have Telstra broadband (fibre) and am required to connect to a Netgear Cm450 cable adapter. I cannot get any internet through the tp link vr1600v (product was not available in drop down list) however nomatter what I do. I suspect that the tplink modem router is somehow conflicting with the adapter. I have tried it in bridge mode but no luck

Can anyone help?

@Blakey

Hello, do you connect the Netgear CM450 to the LAN4/WAN port of the Archer VR1600 by ethernet cable? If so, you need configure the Archer VR1600 as the regular wireless router.

Below is the instruction to set it up.

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1731/

Note: Once you logged into the web UI of Archer VR1600 and select wireless router mode, please go to network-internet page to configure it with the username and password given by ISP.

May it help.
