Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n

Hi!

I have just installed a VR600 DSL modem router to replace the flaky Home Hub provided by my ISP, Plusnet. A very easy install.

All works fine with one exception (that I've found so far):

I have a Synology DS213 NAS which used to connect with no problems to the internet. It now gives an error message " Warning: Two or more routers were detected in your network".

Looking at the Synology forum, it may be that one router is the one built into the VR600, the other may be some sort of service from my ISP. The set-up screen (basic - internet) shows a gateway at a 172.16.... IP address. Is this likely to be the issue? ISP side NAT translation? (That means not much to me!) Any ideas on how to sort it? There are no other local routers, I've disconnected all other access points just in case. The Synology warning gives the not very helpful (to me) suggestion of setting the router to bridging mode.

@Onewheeler

Hello, please provide the information below so that we can give you a specific answer.

1. The network diagram--how do you connect these devices together.

2. The status page of the Archer VR600; you can login to the web UI to get it.

3. The IP address and gateway obtained by computer connected to the Archer VR600.

Thanks in advance. Good day.
