I purchased two of the KP303 smart power strips recently. When they work, they're great. However, I've noticed a few times when I try to voice control them that google tells me the "device isn't available right now".
When I go into the Kasa app it says "local only" next to the three plugs. If I leave it for a while, it eventually reconnects.
Doubt it's an issue with my local network as I have loads of other devices working without problem.
Is there an issue with the connection retry logic? I suspect it's failing to connect momentarily (for whatever reason) and then not retrying again for a period of time. What's the logic? Is it exponential backoff?
NB: KP303, not HS300. There was no KP303 option in the drop-down list.
