@alanchow I would like it a lot to get a screenshot. It would be very easy to get it in other applications. Alternative it would be also nice to get a periodic mail (dailey, hours, miniutes) with the jpg as attachment.

Any update on getting a snapshot via direct URL?

The other solutions people have mentioned require middleware to be implemented.

  @Brook I confirm the need for integration with domotic platforms such as eedomus which do not support realtime recording. It is mandatory to take a snapshot for recording when needed.

It is incomprehensible that a camera does not have the basic function of a url to obtain an image. If I had known, I would never have bought this camera.

The URL http snapshot functionality has been added to TAPO cameras or is it still missing?

many users need this functionality to integrate cameras with 3-rd party security systems
