Hi
firmware version: 1.0.0 Build 20180503 Rel. 53410
hardware version: TL-WA850RE v6.0
model number of sky q router: SR203
the led status just shows power and WiFi. The extender does detect and recognise the WiFi but at the end of the set up no further led's come on.
I haven't tried changing the wireless channel on the main router. I'm not sure how to do that.

Hello, may I know what is the led status of the TL-WA850RE? And what about its hardware and firmware version?
What is the model number of the sky q router?
Can it detect the sky q wifi when you login to the web UI of the extender and configure it?
Have you ever tried to change the wireless settings of the main router to give it a go? Like wireless channel and wireless network name.
Good day.

That would be great. Glad to hear that it works and thanks for your updates.
Now you can use the extender to boost the wifi signal.

Hi I am not technical at all but I think I have the same problem. However from reading all these threads I just get more confused. I have sky superfast broadband in my house. I have built a garden office at the end of the garden and needed to get wifi. I bouught and installed a TP link deco M5 mesh network with three boxes. Box one is connected to the sky modem by a cable. Box 2 elwhere in the house and box 3 in my office. The result was I have excellent wifi connection in my office, thanks to the TP link. However today we ordered and got a Sky Q box and a sky Q mini box. The main sky Q box connected to the mesh network is working fine in the house. However the mini box was intended to connect to the TV in my Garden office. For some reason it just does not see or pick up the mesh network in my office. It works fine in other parts of the house (the mini box) however in the office it does not see the network.
Is this a similar problem to this or is this something different ?
Any advice would be helpful.

Hi, thanks for your patience.
I am afraid it is a different problem.
And our senior engineers are also testing the Sky Q box recently with the local provider.
Have you tried to turn off the fast roaming, beam forming on the Sky Q mini box?
By the way, is there any error message when the mini box failed to connect the Deco box 3?
Thank you very much.
