Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 160613 Rel.40404n

Hello.
I am looking for a way to switch into Modem Mode/Transparent Bridging Mode so i can use anoter router.
My second router is Ethernet WAN and much better and this one is having overheating issues when being pushed.
If this is not possible is there another Modem out there that i can use ? (I do not want a Router/ISR/AP/etc. just the modem, as the router i am using has dd-wrt and i need a public address on the WAN port to enable a 6in4 tunnel).

Thanks.

Hello, the Archer VR400 works in bridge mode by default; so you can hard reset it by holding the reset button for 10s with it powered on.

Then you can connect the second router to it and configure it as the main router.

Good day.
