Hi 

 

Would appreciate some help I am using the Edgerouter X for Routing / Internet etc and want to conect this to my existing TPLINK AC1900 VR900 V2 

 

Using ADSL Connection BT Broadband

 

Can I put the AC1900 into Modem Only mode and disable all DHCP  / NAT and only provide wireless connectivity the Edge X Taking over all Internet and Routing functionaity

I am only seeing these operation modes

 


DSL Modem Router Mode -- Current Mode Enabled
3G/4G Router Mode
Wireless Router Mode 

 

I will connect from Edge X Eth 0 (Ethernet Cable) to ETH4 WAN port on TPLINK AC1900

Hi, does the edge router X support DSL connection? If so, combined with your requests, it is suggested to configure the Archer VR900 as an access point. Then there is no DHCP server/NAT function.
