Archer AX10 Router keeps rebooting when using Wifi 6 with Intel AX200 Wireless Card
Hi, there seems to be a problem with Archer AX10 Wifi 6 routers with computers that use the Intel AX200 Wifi 6 card. There is no problem with connecting to the 5G network which has Wifi 6; however, when using the 5G Wifi 6 to download large files such as games from Steam, the wifi cuts off and restarts the router. It also sometimes only cuts the 5G wifi and the 2.4G wifi is still showing in the wifi menus but it is unable to connect. When using the 2.4G wifi which only uses Wifi 4 (using the same Intel AX200 Wireless Card), the downloads are fine and the router does not restart.
At first, I believe it is only my router being faulty. I contacted the distributor and they tried to recreate the problem with my router using the Archer TX3000E PCIE adapter card, but the router was working fine for them. After testing for a while, the distributor kindly gave me a replacement AX10 Router to see if the problem still persists. Unfortunately after further testing with the replacement AX10 Router, the 5G Wifi 6 still cuts when downloading large files or casual gaming, while the 2.4G Wifi 4 functions fine with no problems. Therefore, I can conclude there either is a problem with the Archer AX10 models with its Wifi 6 implementation or it has compatibility issues with the Intel AX200 card.
The two revisions on the AX10 are V1.2, meaning it is the newest version of the AX10. Is there a firmware upcoming that may fix this problem?

If anyone still encounters the auto-reboot issue with the Archer AX10/AX1500, especially working with an AX200 adapter, please try to update your router firmware to the below one and monitor the outcome.

Okay, just to report back the status: with the beta firmware, the router still reboots intermittently, like once every 2 or 3 days.
Another observation is that once an usb fan was put underneath the router, the router is running fine 24x7 without intermittent reboot, with and without running on the beta firmware.
It appears that TP Link AX routers has heat problem resulting in unstable operation.
I have another Archer A9 router which is my main router, doesn't even have this problem. That router is a beast running 24x7, with an uptime of more than a few months without problem at all.

Hi, sorry to respond late. Please make sure you are tagging a TP-Link Admin if you want a timely response. Unless we are tagged we do not see that new responses have been added. We do not subscribe to every thread so rely on Tagging to ensure responses.
Is your router model also AX10? Have you tried the beta firmware I posted before?
BTW, is Stream a software running on your computer or phone? Can I have a basic description of it or please share us a URL for reference.

@Solla-topee - Thank you for posting about the firmware update, but I am not see seeing any improvement, this is very disappointing due that tplink is advertising something that is not.true, we have had now issues with the note 20, the Samsung 20+, an iPhone and a one plus8pro, this is very disappointing and frustrating, we are having random reboots and slow downs. .

Are you using the latest official firmware?
I am using version 1.0.2 Build 20200706 Rel. 8066 currently, and the router uptime has been rock solid since the last upgrade.
