Hello

Recently the HS110 has started switching off if the plug detects some heat. Can I turn this functionality off?

@unserrer

When the temperature of the plug socket is detected to be too high, the plug will turn off automatically to avoid overheating and burning.

When overtemperature protection is triggered, the Kasa app will display an overheat notification and the plug will continue to detect the temperature. When the temperature is lower than a limit, you will be allowed to turn on the plug again.

We cannot disable this feature on the Kasa app due to security concerns.

I think you mean safety rather than security. If the switch is overheating it would be best to stop using it until you can figure out what's wrong!
