Disable TKIP in deco e4r
Followed the instructions in Deco android APP and configured deco e4.
After that when i check sniffer could see both WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK is enabled, also TKIP is enabled by default.
I would like to enable only WPA2-PSK (AES-CCM). How to do that?
Also Can i configure the mesh or backhaul to operate in 5GHz only?

Hello,
There is currently no way to fix the security to WPA2 or AES only on the Deco device. It is suggested to try to fix the security on the client devices if they support it.
With security in mind and we do get some other customers the same feedback, this would be an important feature to have. This will be forwarded as a feature request to our developers for consideration with the highest priority.
The Wi-Fi backhaul will build up automatically once the Deco mesh system is successfully up, there is no option we can choose whether to use 5G or 2.4G and the Wi-Fi backhaul will transmit data automatically by choosing a better one.
Thank you.

We have received in several threads answers by @Solla-topee mentioning that TKIP+AES is by design first, then that the repeaters broadcast only accordingly to the main router settings (which is not true, as confirmed again by this post https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/192784, too) and you also confirm in this thread that there is no fix at this moment.
Given the age of the previous and recent requests, that repeaters DO broadcast using TKIP and opening our networks to security threats, can you provide an update and let the users of products (RE200, RE450, RE650 to just mention some) whose firmware doesn't allow tho choose the encryption method/disable TKIP what the timeline is for an updated one that allows us to do so?
