Archer VR2100 - Randomly reboots several times a day.
Hi,
Had the Arccher Vr2100 a few eeks now and it reboots itself several times during a 24hr period.
Firmware up to date and cannot see and kind of schedules in the settings that would reboot it.
The logs do not show anything obvious.
Do i have a faulty device?

@scoomby thanks but the router won't accept it - error code 4503. Apparently it's something to do with the region. I'm in the UK. A
Any other suggestions?

@MERF you need to extract the .bin file from the zip file you download. That .bin file is the firmware you upload to the router.

Mine has just rebooted for the first time since the 19-02-21 Firmware. It lasted a day, so looks like the issue is still here...

Are there any powerline devices in your network? If there are, try to relocate them and move them further away from the VR2100, which had been proved to be one of the reason that causing an issue by andyg101 at #116.
BTW, who is your ISP? Was the reboot issue occurring when you purchased the VR2100, or was it happened after some time later?
Try to reset the VR2100 to factory defaults by pressing the reset button on it, then reconfigure it from scratch to confirm. It is also suggested enabling the auto-reboot on the VR2100, then monitor if that helps.

Hi Kevin, To Answer your questions..
I do have a powerline adaptor however this was installed some time after the router and the reboots have been occuring since I purchased it (before the powerline was installed)
My ISP is BT, and the reboots have been occuring since purchase.
I have previously tried a full factory reset and this has not made a difference to the reboot pattern.
Thanks

Thank you for getting back. Have you tried to enable the auto-reboot feature on the VR2100? Will it help?
It is suggested to work with engineers directly and see if they have further debug suggestions for you.

Hi Kevin, I did have it enabled for a time (nightly reboot at 3am) however it did not stop the reboot issue. I have not tried this on the latest firmware so I will instigate the schedule again and let you know, I will log a support ticket and get direct Engineer involvement .
Thanks
