Please report back with information below if the above does not work so we could look into the issue further.
1. model of your router (or a picture of the bottom label on Jio Fiber router) and share with a photo of router's WiFi Channel settings.
2.RE's model, hardware version and country version (EU/US etc.) on its back label, thank you

Good day.
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Can I have a picture of the bottom label on Jio Fiber router?
After the firmware update, have you tried to reset it and set it up again via web interface?
And is it possible that you could try to change the wireless channel on Jio Fiber router to channel 40/48 for 5ghz?
Thank you very much.

Yes i have reset the tp-link extender 2-3 times, its unable to find the 5ghz band.. I even tried configuring through WPS but only 2.4Ghz get configured.
I have even reset my jio fiber router twice but same issue. Also in Jio Router page, there is no option to change the channels of 2.4 or 5ghz bands

Hi,
I am too facing this problem. My TP link RE305 router does not detect JIO 5Ghx network. It was working fine with Airtels Nokia router and i never had issues with 2.4G or 5ghz, but when i movd to JIO fibrenet....my TP link wifi extender does not detect the 5G network of Jio while it can detect Airtel network.
I tried every other solution available in google, but nothing worked. Cannot change any setting of Jio router (model number : JCO4032) either.

Good day,
Sorry for the delay.
Did you have the option to change the channel to 36/48 for the 5ghz band on the JCO4032?
Since I used to receive several feedbacks that some routers in India would fix the 5ghz channel to be 149(band 4) to get higher bandwidth, but RE305(EU) and re205(EU) or any EU version extenders did not support band 4 (149-165).
Have you tried to contact the router support to see if they can help us change the channel from their side?
Thank you very much.

@DiboshBaruah follow this instruction in Jio Fiber Router, see the picture
Click search and type 5GHz and select Basic configuration
Change channel spacing to 20/40 MHz and save.
Then TPLink range extender can able to find and connect 5GHz network.

It doesn't work. Jio router doesn't allow changing channels.

@JamesBond007 Jio router does allow to change bands. Try other forums to see how it can be done. I did it almost 6 months ago ...now there is no issues whatsoever.
