Hi ,
My TL-MR6400 Changes LTE band automatically which results in frequent connection loss with weak network signal. I need this manual option to choose LTE Band . Please let me know is there any planned updated of the firmware ? Or is there any other means which I can get away this issue. I am totalty lost , there is no internet connection when I needed at the most.. I am very disppointed with router.
Thanks,
Thoufiq.

@saiaikenon Hi, would there be any error message when you failed to install the beta?
For V5.2, please hold on for a while and I might need to check the engineers and update later.
Update: the latest firmware for V5.2 has supported band selection already.

MR6400(EU) V5: This router supported Band 5 for Jio network. Reliance Jio uses Bands 3(1800MHz FDD), 5(850MHz FDD) and 40(2300MHz TDD). Band 40 provides better bandwidth and band 5 provides coverage in remote/rural areas as well as indoors where higher frequency signals cannot penetrate.
Unfortunately, MR6400 does not support Band 5, and that means poor 4G coverage when using Reliance Jio indoors with this device. Can you please provide update the firmware and provide Band 5 in this device. Also, Please let me know, which router supports band 5 also, including all bands.

Hi, Thank you very much for your detailed information.
It's very useful to know that JIO SIM Band 40 provides better bandwidth and band 5 provides coverage in remote/rural areas as well as indoors.
But I have checked with the senior engineers that the supported bands are limited to hardware and could not be added via software upgrade.
So I am afraid it could not be achieved via a firmware upgrade.
Archer MR600 does support band 5, as does TL-MR100.
