RE305 Range Extender Dead after update

This morning I upgraded the firmware on my RA305 via the Tether app and the upgrade moved through the steps as expected and the RE305 turned off at the "Reboot" stage then the Power light came on but nothing else and it's been this way all day. 
I have tried powering off, a hard reset using the button on the bottom (which does nothing - no lights flash etc. just the power light which stays lit), connecting to it via Ethernet using 192.168.1.1, but nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions as to what I can do next?

The default IP of RE305 is 192.168.0.254, or http://tplinkrepeater.net ;
So what is the IP address and default gateway when you are connected to the RE305?
Are you able to ping the gateway as well?
Where are you located and how long have you have the device?
For reset, have you tried to unplug it and plug it back, then hold the reset pinhole for 10s again to have a look?
