Model: TL-WPA8630P KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.3 Build 20171018 Rel.36564

Hi,

I've recently upgraded my internet to gigabit. No matter what I do I cannot get anything more than 100mbit to come across my WPA8630s.

They claim to be connected at 400mbits plus as below

Whether connected via ethernet or wifi - same performance practically. No device connected gets over 100mbit.

I've done the following;

Got the latest firmware

Removed all other devices

Plugged both directly in to wall sockets

Bought new CAT6 cables

Checked cables in other devices (1Gbit to all other devices)

Nothing appears to works?

Any one have any ideas?

Cheers

Steve

@Steveynet

Plug both powerline adapters into the same double outlet AC power wall socket (or AC power wall sockets within same room) and do a speed test over ethernet.  Do you see over 100 mbps?

@Steveynet

Good day,

Thanks a lot for your time and patience.

Have you tried to reset the two adapters and pair them again to have a look?(How to reset: hold the reset button/pinhole for at least 5 seconds)

If possible, could you please connect the TL-WPA8630P via cable to the main router(leave the TL-PA8010 unplugged), then connect the computer to the second port of TL-WPA8630p to see how much speed on the computer?

By the way, if the computer is connected to the router directly via the same Ethernet port, how much speed from the computer?

Thanks a lot.
