Model: AP300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 0.8.0 v009c.0 Build 201103 Rel.38894n

Greetings,

I've run into a weird problem with my unit. The modem suddenly dropped my default 2.4GHz Wifi, even though it's enabled in the settings. I've tried renaming the Wifi, turning the 2.4GHz option on and off, then came a reboot, then factory reset and finally rolling back to a previous FW. Nothing helped.

There's nothing in the logs, not even in the "Debug" mode about it being dropped. Interestingly, 5GHz still works great.

If anyone here knows something, I'll be glad to try :)

Thanks in advance

@medovinka

Have you checked if there is any new firmware available for the VR300 on the local official website? You may confirm if you can upgrade the router firmware first:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-vr300/v1/#Firmware

If none of the methods could help bring the 2.4G network back, I'm afraid there might be an issue with the 2.4G module, we have no other suggestions, sorry about that.
