Latest Firmware Upgrade

I have just downloaded and installed this update to my router and it is working fine. Is this the most recent version as I couldn't find a newer release?
Also how often do TP link issue firmware upgrades? When I log-in to my router and click to search for updates it always says 'your version is up to date' even when it was the original version after I purchased it, so I have to upload and install the file manually.
Any help appriciated as I'm trying to see if any updates give the Wifi signal a bit more power?

Hello, it seems there is a newer beta firmware that enhanced the overall router performance, you may check if you want to upgrade to this version:

Actually, it's hard to say when or how long will we upload a new firmware version, we generally upload new firmware to add new features or fix issues. You may keep an eye on the local official website in case there is any new firmware update in the future.

You can download and install the latest firmware again on your VR400, then confirm if the firmware version is newer.

@DaZzleFM Thanks Kevin. The link I have gave me this version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 201104 Beta.38939n which I understand to be the most up to date?

Please could you give me the heads up on when you are releasing a new version for this router please. Reason being is that I've had glitches where the WIFI drops out for a moment then comes back again, yet all the lights on the router remain on.
My ISP could see the drop outs but said it's nothing to do with my line and has been tested. This has only happened since installing this latest firmware upgrade above.
Help suggestions appreciated?
