TP-Link VR2100 poor Onemesh performance

Performance of VR2100 onemesh is poor. The experience is no near seamless experience. When I have a video call the call freeze. I tried with RE200 and RE305.

Were you moving around from one room to another when the video call freezes? Can you confirm if your phone is switching from the VR2100 network to the RE network at that time? If your phone is roaming between the two networks, I'm afraid that is normal if you sometimes can notice these small drops when using video calls as it is real-time. How about other services or activities, are they working flawlessly?

@Kevin_Z I confirm the video call drops when switching from the VR2100 to the RE netwrok. In my opinion the video drop call is not normal I tried the AX20 router and it worked seamlessly with the RE network, the video calls did not drop

Can you please the firmware for both Archer VR2100 and the RE305 are up-to-date?

I confirm the firmware is up to date for both devices. But I see that the VR2100 has a new firmware dated December 2020, the firmware is not available in all regions. It seems it is not available in my region

@Kevin_Z I updated to the latest firmware. Onemesh is much better. The video call freeze for 2 - 3 seconds then come back. Previously the video call would stop completely. Therfore, from original situation to now situation is much better. I hope another firmware update comes again soon to have a seamless video call transition without have the call to freez for 2 - 3 seconds
