Cannot host Minecraft Server publicly
I use my C7 router in access point mode, not router mode, so it uses the same subnet mask, same IP range, same default gateway as the modem to which it is connected to. I also set my LAN for the router to static-IP to and DHCP server to 'on', keeping the details the same as the modem. The PC I am hosting the server on is connected to the C7 router, and then I manage the port forward settings on the host modem's settings page. When port forwarding I chose the local IP of the PC hosting the server and chose TCP protocol and the public and private range is set to 25565~25565. I can join the server fine locally on the host PC, but when I test it on another network and use my global IP + 25565 as the connection address, it does not connect.
