Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.3.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 170809 Rel.42095n

Hi , Im wanting to connect my Virgin Media V6 (Tivo) box to the VR2800, but in the setup there is no option for me to select Virgin Media as my ISP, I think that this maybe the reason that I can't stream internet video from the Amazon Prime App on the v6 box.

Is there a way to be able to set the ISP to be Virgin Media?

Note: The virgin media hub3 is set in router mode and connects to the VR2800 OK, I can see the content epg for Amazon Prime videos but can't watch them when selected. The V6 box is connected to a port on the VR2800 and I can see that it is present from the settings on the VR2800, V6 box also shows it as connected to the VR2800.

Thank you for you time and consideration in this matter

NigeP

Thanks for the swift reply, I have got it working now, but not sure how :-)

It may just have been down to re-booting devices in the correct order, or it may have been down to setting ipv6.

Anyway , now a happy customer. Merry Christmas.

Does the Virgin Media V6 (Tivo) box require any special setting on the modem gateway? If not, it should work fine when the internet on the VR2800 is ready (If Virgin Media is not an option from the ISP dropdown list, you can choose Other, then input all the necessary parameters to build up the internet connection).
