Model: Archer VR1200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 0.9 v6041.0 Build 200629 Rel.2756n

Hello everybody,

when I set up my new Archer VR1210v few months ago, I remember it was possible (from web interface) to schedule wireless ON/OFF separately for 2.4G and 5G.

Now it seems it isn't possible anymore: when I enter the web interface, on "wireless">"advanced" section, I have just one scheduling page, and it works on both 2.4 and 5G together.

Any advice to restore a separate scheduling management of the two bands?

Thanks in advance,

Manuel

@ManuelDaniele

Hello, thanks for the detailed information.

Archer VR1210v seems a customized version for Service Providers in the local market, which means the firmware of the router might be self-designed by your ISP.

Generally, the support for this customized version will be covered by your ISP, and we suggest you contact your ISP first to check if there is any limitation on the firmware.

Thank you Kevin for your kind reply. Anyway, no, it isn’t a customized nor “brandized” version from an ISP provider, I bought it brand new (in its standard sealed TP-Link box) in a big computer store chain, and I personally updated the firmare to the latest one downloaded from TP-Link website. I can’t tell for sure if the problem arose just after the firmware update, but I can’t either exclude it. Thanks again, Manuel
