Model: Archer VR1600v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Problem:

When remote access enabled,

test the remote access from within my home network, with the WAN IP insead of LAN IP typed intot he browser:

with the given wan ip+port displayed in the web gui,  the result is 403 forbidden.

Try to use wan ip + 80/443 port, it works.

test the remote access from outside my home network, means a real remote site:

with the wan ip+port displayed in the web gui,  the result is a broken login interface, none of the button do anything:

Try to use wan ip + 80/443 port, no response.

Firmware is the default factory version, I can not remember, but it seems to happen to all versions, and not limited to VR1600V model. Also it seems you are not providing firmware download for VR1600V. I have not seen any company selling a modem router not providing it.

It is not browser related, chrome, firefox, even IE, all have the same problem.

By the way it is the real WAN IP, because accessing ported forwarded internal service works. Via either wan up or ddns.
