Hello Support!

 

I am planning to buy a router, but a question just stuck to my mind. Do I need a high quality Ethernet cable for getting the best connection with routers.

 

Although, I must need a new Ethernet cable to get the best out of the router! Well, I've searched on Google and found a blog post. I think I should get the CAT-7 Cable.

 

Please check it and suggest any.

What do you guys think? Which should I get?

 

I am worried because I need the best internet connection for my games not to lag or any other ping issues.

Hi,

the Ethernet cable would affect the speed and the router would do as well.

So leaving the Ethernet cable match with the router Ethernet standard(such as Fast Ethernet port(100M/s) or gigabit port(1000M/s)) would be more economical.

While if allowed, the CAT-7 cable would be perfect;
