TL-PA4010 KIT AV600 - Keep turning off!!
I recently brought a TL-PA4010 KIT AV600 to boost wifi in my home. I already have a TL- WPA4220 installed and have followed the instructions to ass the new extenders.
At first they worked fine but after a few hours I noticed my internet connection drop and on expection the new TL-PA4010 has turned off and there was no lights?I have to unplug to rest but after a while the turn off again?
What is the problem here???

Hello everyone,
For powerline device turn off issue , please help describe the LED status on Powerline unit when it turns off, the frequency and how to recover the connection, like unplugging and plugging it back in; , thank you.
Here are some tips to give it a try:
- Please disable power save on powerline device first
- Try a different wall outlet make sure it's not poor or loose contact with the socket
- Update device firmware
- Try to factory reset that powerline unit
Reset Wired Powerline unit: press the pair button until all the Leds flash once
Reset Wireless powerline unit: press and hold the Reset button (or use a pin to press reset hole) until all LEDs turn off and start on again.
- If still the same concern persists, may I know the model and hardware version of your device?
- How long the device has been working before?
- Does the issue happen on main or extender powerline unit?
If it's an old power line device worked for years, I suggest contacting the retailer or local support to check device warranty.
Thank you.

@Smithmyster85 Good day,
Please disable power save on powerline device first:

When PA4010 lost no power, does it properly connected to the wall socket tightly? You could try a different wall socket for it as well.
Btw, may I know this only happen on 1 PA4010, or both PA4010s?

Hi, I have downloaded the utility but it is not picking up any devices and just states 'no device connected'. I've tried add device and refreshing but its not bringing anything up? Both PA4010 turn off so I expect I do need to disable power save mode but how can can I do that if the devices are not recognised on the utility?

@Smithmyster85 Hi,
Thank you for your reply~
Please make sure you connect a PC to PA4010 by Ethernet cable and let us know which Leds are On that powerline unit at that time.
You could try another PA4010 and see another one is detected by PC or not.
If still the same issue,may I have a photo of the IP address of your PC/ Ethernet adapter: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/838/
Can you share me a link of the tpPLC Utility you have downloaded and also let me know the Windows version of your computer, thank you

@Solla-topee Ok so I connected via Ethernet cable and the devices appeared in the utility app. I've disabled the power saving mode on both the TL-PA4010's but the other devices, which is part of the first set up, is password protected and I don't know what the password it. I've tried admin but that doesn't work? I don't think that one turns off so problem might be solved but how do I reset the password if I need to access the settings on that one?

I've had the same issue for a year and a half with an AV-600. Turns itself off every 1 to 2 days. Does my head in and there seems to be no fix. The only thing I can think of doing is trying a firmware update but that looks hideously complicated.
