Hi Fellow TP-Linkers,

 

Please laugh if you feel the need after reading this request for Answers to remedy my current TechACHE.

 

I currently run a VR2100, I have it working as a dedicated WIFI ROUTER for High level competition Gaming and Streaming and is currently satisfactory.

 

ISSUE: I am unable to connect to this VR2100 via the TETHER APP, as you are pushed through the connect/setup device portion of the app everything is B.A.U, BUTTTT when you click on the  final link to "Find your Device" it "searches" (with its GD eyes closed, ears plugged and hands in its bloody pockets) it returns with "your not connected".....   

 

BRUH I'm connected to the GD TP-Link ARCHER VR21000, every thing on the hardware side is perfect and my devices are connected happily.... 

 

I have checked if my ARCHER VR2100 is supported by the Tether App ANNNNNNNNDDD wow WTAFIGO it's not a supported model????? Yet their is tech help videos on the GD TP-Link web collective clearly displaying a ARCHER VR2100 connecting to the GD Tether App...

 

I NEED SOME HELP TO ADJUST MY SETTINGS ON MY UNSUPPORTED TP LINK ARCHER VR2100 BEFORE I GO FULL CAVEMAN ON LIVE STREAM AND DECLARE WW3 ON THIS UNSUPPORTED TP LINK DEVICE CALLED THE TP LINK ARCHER VR2100. 
 

IM GONNA SAY THIS, IF I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE PURCHASED A DEVICE FROM AN RETAILER THAT WAS SOLD TO ME ON THE PRETEXT THAT IT WAS EASY TO USE, IS EASY TO SET UP AND  IS EASY TO ADJUST SETTINGS ON BECAUSE IT USES AN APP ON YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE... I WILL BE SHOWING MY AMAZEMENT AND DISCONTENT IN A MANNER THAT WILL GET THE DESIRED ATTENTION... this is not "MERE PUFFERY" and "CAVEAT EMPTOR" coming into play, if it is not a supported device and was shown by "Brand/Manufacturer" and also "Retailer" to be a supported device. Both a acting in a "FRAUDULENT MANNER" and as such can be then facing "CIVIL PROCEEDINGS" buuuuut here's the GD clinch, the aforementioned will be held as a class action as the amount of "DECEIT" and "GROSS FISCAL GAIN" warrant said proceedings... 

 

 

I look forward to all the interesting commentary that shall follow this post and if the TechACHE is able to be resolve and the advertisement pitch points are able to be achieved.

Hi,  I just tested the Archer VR2100 on my side Archer VR2100 supports Tether APP on both wireless router mode and DSL modem router mode;

And are you connected to the Wi-Fi of the VR2100  when you log into the APP?
