Hi, the official firmware for Archer MR600 V2 already supported band selection;
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-mr600/#Firmware
And please go to Advanced > Network > Internet >band> change auto to manually;
And here is its supported Carrier Aggregation:
B1+B3/B5/B7/B8/B20
B3+B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28/B38/B40
B5+B1/B3/B5/B7/B40
B7+B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28
B8+B1/B3/B7
B20+B1/B3/B7
B28+B3/B7/B40
B38+B38
B40+B40

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Thanks for your reply. I followed the same steps given by you. I have selected Band3 and Band 40. Please find the attached image below.
After the save button click when i navigate to advanced settings page to check the network it either connect with Band40 or Band3.
It never connect with Carrier Aggregation mode. I never seen 4G+ symbol at any point in time. FYI... In the same place the mobile does the career aggregation and it shows 4G+.
Is there anything that i need to check?

Hi
I'm using Mr600 v2... while I'm using manual band selection and choose band 7 .... 4G, I have a better speed and quality than using auto with 3,7 bands ...4G+
Is there any option to choose band 7.7 for better result or it depends on my ISP?
there is no firmware beta version like v1 to select carrier aggregation manually?

@Kathir use two external lpda antennas... it probably solves your problem (not connecting 4g+)...
I had a poor signal (rsrp -103dbm and rsrq -14) and no 4g+ and problem's solved with lpda antennas

@sinatrok Thanks a lot for your reply. I am having one LPDA antenna at this time. The RSRP is -95dbdm (It varies between -75dBm to -109dBm based on band selection), RSRQ -9db, SNR 8.0 dB
Atleast with the MR600 V2 i am not facing the connection drop out issue that i faced earlier with MR100.
I am bit reluctant to invest another 4K for one more LPDA antenna.

@Kathir
Ur welcome...
I didn't test the modem with one antenna but theoretically i think it's not possible to aggregate bands with one antenna...
I cut my coaxial cable and waiting for post office to deliver my new sma connectors... I will let you know if 4g+ works with 1 lpda antenna practically or not, ASAP

@sinatrok Thanks for your reply again. I will wait for your findings.
By the way how do you cut the cable and connect with the SMA connector? do you have the necessary grimper tools?

@MarioBest I am translating your message by using google translator and i am trying to respond. I am sorry in case of any transation errors.
You are trying to do the band aggregation in TP Link MR600. You are thinking you may need to use the external antenna to do that.
1. In your area, if the signal strength is good, there is no need of External Antenna. The external antenna is only required where you have low signal.
2. As per TP Link the career aggregation should work by default. But in my case its not working. It always connect with one single band. Honestly i don't see any option to combine two bands. (In the same place i have Samsung Mobile which shows 4G+ in two different mobile networks).
3. I am using one built in antenna and one LPDA antenna. One of our community member mentioned, i might need to use two LPDA antenna to do the career aggregation. (I am not sure whether will help. It may increase the signal strength). Because when i search for available bands it shows all the available bands in that specific network.
Hope i answered your queries. Please reach out to me if you have addtional questions.
Waiting for the updates from TP-Link for further comments. I conacted their technical support and they don't have much info.
