Hello all, I'm updating you here to inform you that there is a new firmware for Archer C80(US), which adds a Onemesh ON/OFF switch, you may upgrade and install the latest firmware if you still want to disable the Onemesh hidden network on the Archer C80. I also updated my original post here below:

If there's no dedicated switch button then you can't turn it off:
The only option is to use an older FW where this functionality is not yet implemented.

There is no way to disable OneMesh with v1.5.7, I also asked about this from support and they said:
"Yes, in this firmware there is no onemesh button to disable it.

The hidden wireless network is used to build up the mesh wireless network system, which we call it Onemesh. For more details, please refer to the below article, which will help answer it:

There will be a new version firmware adding the Onemesh on/off switch in the near future, which allows you to turn it off manually. Please wait patiently, and pay attention to the official release.
Thank you.

@Kevin_Z , Still no visibility on when a new firmware for Archer C80 will be released that will let us disable OneMesh.
Also, by not letting the user to downgrade to a lower version of firmware that did not have OneMesh, TP-Link is forcing the feature on them.
I have also emailed to TP-Link support but they do not reply. Here is the ticket number for reference - TKID220113
Would you be able to advise on when we can expect a new firmware?

Hello @praxy, thanks for asking again.
As confirmed with the developers the official firmware that allows you to disable Onemesh will be available soon, which could be the next version, but they cannot provide an ETA that when it will be available as it is still under testing. Please pay attention to the router web GUI or the Tether app for any new firmware updates.
