Model: TD-W8961N
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 3.0.0

My model is TD-W8961N (EU) and I want to setup it as an access point.

A page to be edited appears in the help instructions. A different page appears on my PC, so, I cannot make the changes.  Does anyone have the same problem ? Thank You

@grafo

Hi, can you have a picture of your page?

By the way, what are the current hardware version and firmware version of your modem? (you can find it on the bottom of the web UI.)

If it is TD-W8961N(EU)_V4_210205, It does not have the operation mode for access point to choose and you could refer to the following steps to manually set up the access point:

  1. Connect the laptop via Ethernet cable or wireless to the 8961N;
  2. Then log into the web UI via http://tplinkmodem.net
  3. Go to interface setup>LAN >change the LAN IP address to be in the same IP range of the home router, for example, 192.168.0.2 out of 192.168.0.xxx; and disable the DHCP server
  4. After the setup, connect the main router to one of the LAN ports of 8961N;

Thank you very much.
