Troubleshooting SIM Card not Found?

Issue Description/Phenomenon:
Customers may find that the SIM Card Status displays a 'NO SIM card detected' error (pictures as below) when they inserted the SIM card into the 4G router, follow these steps:
Troubleshooting Suggestions:
- Make sure the SIM card is firmly inserted per link: How do I install a SIM card for my 4G Wi-Fi router or Mobile Wi-Fi?
Some key points: Please pay close attention to the SIM card as the metal clamp that "secures it" closes and see if the act of closing pushes the SIM Card out of alignment.
For more details, please refer to the information shared by#36 @string
- Restart the router with the SIM card inserted.
- Reset the router by pressing and holding the RESET pinhole for 10s until all LED lights flash off then back on.
- Put the sim card into a smartphone, confirm that it is working well on the phone.
- Try using another SIM card if that is possible.
If none of the above helps to make the SIM card detect correctly, Please comment below with the following information:
- A picture of the bottom label with The model number and hardware version of your 3/4G Gateway:
(Especially you have Archer MR400 V4.2, Archer MR200 v5.2, TL-MR6400 v5.2, and TL-MR100 v1.2, Thank you in advance. )
- The SIM card carrier:
- Would there be any damage to the Micro SIM Card Slot before, such as the SIM card being stuck in and not able to be taken out?
- How long have you had the device, and when did this issue start?
- Was there any firmware upgrade before no sim card was detected?

How long have you had the router?
Have you tested the router with another SIM card, not a RAIN sim?

- Ci sarebbero stati danni allo slot della scheda Micro SIM in precedenza, ad esempio la scheda SIM è rimasta bloccata e non può essere estratta? No
- Da quanto tempo hai il dispositivo e quando è iniziato questo problema? acquistato da amazon e in mio possesso dal 10/11/2021, il problema è iniziato sa subito.
- C'è stato un aggiornamento del firmware prima che non venisse rilevata alcuna scheda SIM? No

Sto avendo lo stesso problema, a quanto pare lo slot si danneggia facilmente e non riesco nemmeno ad aprirlo per vedere se posso cambiarlo o ripararlo.
Ma non voglio dato che l'ho acquistato il 12/04/2021 e perderei la garanzia.
Anche se ancora non è chiaro in italia tramite il supporto tecnico capire come fare per mandarlo in assistenza o chiedere la sostituzione...uno scarica barile continuo come sempre.
per quanto riguarda te perchè non chiedi il reso ad amazon?

I have tried all your suggestions but the problem still remain the same.
- Model number: TL-MR6400, IMEI: 868767035099618
- SIM Card Carrier:Airtel Nigeria
- There is no suspected damage to Mico SIM Card Slot. There has never been incidence of SIM stuck or unable to eject from slot before
- I bought and started using this devive on 26th of January,2021, and I noticed this "no sim card found" error about the last week of September, 2021
- I has never been any firmware upgrade before no sim card was detected.

Hi, @AntonioBATTA since you just bought the MR600 v2, It is not likely a hardware issue.
Could you please test the modem with a different SIM card to check whether it is a compatibility issue?
Hi, @Reigns For your case, Since it was working fine for the last 8 months, It is suggested to check with the local shop retailer to ask for the warranty.

Keep having the "no sim card found" error after trying all suggestions
- Model number: TL Archer -MR200, IMEI: 868769033548109
- SIM Card Carrier:Movistar
- Sim Card slot looks ok with no damage
- I bought and started using this devive on 12th of June,2020, and noticed the error about the last week of November, 2021
- Firmware is up to date 1.9.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190307 Rel.54196n

Hi, is the hardware version of Archer MR200 V3?
Did you also test the modem with a different SIM card?
If still no good luck, I am afraid there might be something wrong with the hardware of MR200 and it is suggested to contact the local shop retailer to ask for warranty.
