Im not getting band 41 on my Vi (india) 4G sim card.
Im not getting band 41 on my Vi (india) 4G sim card.
In my area VI supports band 41(2500Mhz) which is the fastest band.
But router is only detecting band 40 in TD.
VI even supports band 41 + 3 CA but i think this combination is not supported by the router.
but please help me detect band 41 in this router.
attached is a screenshot from my phone

Sorry for the delay, I think your case might be caused by the second one:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/271912
Then the second possibility, for the B41, for the EU version of MR6400, the bandwidth is between 2555-2655MHz and it has been reported that some SIM carriers use B41 from 2555-2655MHz to 2496-2690MHz. So we might need your help to check whether the Vodafone SIM is 2555-2655MHZ or 2555-2655 to 2496-2690MHz.

I found this auction report by D.O.T
my state is Kerala here
Idea : 2535Mhz - 2545Mhz
Vodafone : 2545Mhz - 2555Mhz
These companies joined under one label (Vi - Vodafone Idea)
My sim is an Idea one but under the vodafoneIdea ownership

Hi, did you check the APN settings on the smartphone is the same as MR600?
Under the band selection, did you see the B41 was available?
Is your SIM card carrier Vodafone(VI)?

This is the official community page of tp link right?
Then to whom we are supposed to contact in the name of local support.
Firmware are released from official channel i think, then how local support (you mean offline store or service center or something else, I think none of these are directly available to be contacted in India ) will provide us a better solution.
If you think something like exist in India then give us contact no and other details, we will revert back to you after contacting.
You people can't simply ignore things, people are suffering because of your negligence, band 41 is not working on MR100 router as well. Last thing we have paid you and tp-link is completely responsible if a device/devices are malfunctioning and you are bound to get the things sorted out in a timely manner. If not we will raise the issue to consumer forum here in India. Good Luck

Hi, the 3G/4G routers as well as the DSL products, are highly related to the local network and the firmware is not always the same due to region regulation.
And there are also some customized firmware versions with the local internet service provider.
Currently, almost all the feedback I have received are reported by Indian users and I am not sure if there are more behind.
So I would suggest that you reported to the local support team since they are more familiar with the local network and have the rights to start an investigation, then evaluate whether a new firmware or hardware needs to be released.
Thank you very much.

Hi I contacted to local tp-link support team @1800-209-4168, they have told me to send my query to support.in@tp-link.com.
This is why i was asking here because i knew this was coming and they will redirect me to contact somewhere else.
Now what ? where should i contact.
Someone has already reported this here take a look at the image and my case is no different then this.
Band 41 can be selected on smartphone but not in my router as well
I'm really surprised to see this when this issue has been reported by no. of people from india and tp-link sells his products in india, why tp-link support team is so reluctant in gathering all the required information from different posts shared here by users. if something left you should contact to Vi India in a official way. Why you people are asking customers to do all the home work, this is your responsibility to do all the things and come up with a solution. Now this is all upon you how you guys handle this because i think enough information has been already shared by users of different LTE routers. We expect a solution from you now asap instead of asking customers here and there.
Here im attaching Call recording for proof..
