Hi

I have an Archer VR600 V2 modem router.

I am connected vi optic fibers the download speed is about 1000MBPS.

I order to give priority to Skype and Teams (due to Covid-19 all the family is at home most of the time) I tried to enable the QOS.

No matter which download / upload speeds I set - the speeds drops from close to 1000 MBPS to no more than 30 MBPS.

I tested the speeds on a few different computers and phones and also when I disconnected all the clients on my home net.

Here's how to configure QoS on VR600.

Hi, The configuration @HAREL set is the one that brought him to a speed limit of 30MBPS. That is the same configuration that I used and I have the same problem. The replay that @HAREL got is that the support will contact him personally. I also would like to know how to solve it :-) thank Ziv

Hi, I did not find the previous record for HAREL so I think his case has not been resolved yet.

If possible, please send your QoS configuration settings to me and I will have a check with the senior engineers.

And some more details:

1.Would the speed back to normal once the QoS was disabled?

2. Were all the clients limited to 30m/s with QoS enabling?

Hi, Thank you for your replay. without QOS enabled all the clients get downstream speeds of about 800 MBPS (out of 1000 MBPS). when I enable the QOS all the clients get no more than 30 MBPS. this is my configuration: 1. I enable the QOS 2. I set the upstream speed to 1000MBPS 3. I set the downstream speed to 1000MBPS Ziv

Hi, I would like to follow up on your case by email.

And as for the configuration, did you set up the QoS rules by device or by application, or just leave it as the default settings?--maybe you could send some screenshots to the email?
