Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.7.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 210313 Rel.74106n

Hi,

Devices connected to  my VR2800 via 5GHz constantly (randomly) drop out.

They lose internet connectivity while still being connected to the router.

Devices connected via 2.4GHz do not drop out.

The device could be a phone, PC, TV, it doesn't matter they all lose their internet connectivity.

This occurs at times of low traffic, not just high traffic.

I am on the latest firmware version.

I've check if there are other wifi networks using the bandwidth and there are none.

I have tried setting the channel to 48 and width to 40MHz which has been suggested in another thread, but that didn't change anything.

How do I stop the 5G devices dropping out?

@Joel_G

Hi, How long have you had the VR2800 and when did this issue start?

How did you restore the connection when 5Ghz disconnected?

Please try to check the IP address and try to ping 8.8.8.8 when the connection dropped:
