TD-W9960 latest update error

TD-W9960 won't install latest update When installing the latest update (TD-W9960(EU)_V1_210810) Error code: 71211 Failed to upload upgrade file. Please select the correct file.
i am getting the error and i am sure i downloaded the correct version

Hi, you are right and the firmware might be put in the wrong place.
TD-W9960vV1_1.6.0_0.8.0_up_boot_210810.bin is for TD-W9960v, not 9960.

Refer to this FAQ when upgrading the DSL modem router FW.
On a second thought:
The FW you're trying to upgrade to is TD-W9960vV1_1.6.0_0.8.0_up_boot_210810.bin,
which seems to be an older version of the one you already have installed.
The file size is suspicious too - it's twice bigger than the previous version.
My advise - contact the support and ask them to be advised on that.
