Having ethernet backhaul ensures stability on all devices. Please implement these so I can buy more tplink easymesh products

  @Solla-topee

Is this firmware available?

I have the re315 and archer c80 router and I would like to use onemesh instead of ap feature.

Thanks,

Scott

hey @david-tp I saw that AX80 now supports EasyMesh via Ethernet Backhaul - does that mean AX90 is coming soon?

  @samersarwat

Hi, I see the EU and EG shared the same download link, and if you haven't detected it on the Tether APP, it is ok to download the firmware via my link.

@Eightball11854

As for AX90, it hasn't supported EasyMesh yet and I think it still needs a while.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @Solla-topee I am using two archer AX10 routers in my home setup. One sits in the ground floor and another in the above floor. The concrete between these floors is too strong for a strong WiFi connection between these two routers and I am using Ethernet cable to connect these two routers. It would be great if onemesh over Ethernet is supported in Archer AX10.

With the latest firmware on both, you should already be able to do this with EASYMESH - once the firmware is updated, you will see there is a EasyMesh menu item now, and no OneMesh anymore. Then you can follow this:

OK, so I literally just tried to do what I told you to do in the previous post - and it FAILS!!!!!!

1. I picked up another AX10 router - flashed to latest firmware so it has Easy Mesh.

2. Connected via LAN and on my main AX10, added the new Mesh device. This FAILED, saying it should be plugged in closer to the other router - why??/ ( will become obvious just now...)

3. Plugged it in closer to the main router - actually connected the LAN cable directly between my two routers. This time, the "Add new device" worked.

4. Moved the router to the room that has little/no WiFi

5. For a moment, it looked like it was actually working - had strong WiFi signal, same MEsh as the Main router etc - but then...

The "Internet" light on the remote unit started turning orange.

Eventually it came back on green, BUT, now that remote unit is linked via WiFi and not via the LAN cable - back to square one.

TP-LINK - please get you $%^$^% together!
