  @FiGgS

seen your post about just using Deco as access points...

I have 2 x X95 decos currently as my main network and then have an Archer AX90 in AP mode running a 2.4 only network for my legacy dumb IoT devices...

would it be beneficial to use the AX90 as my primary router with the DECO just in AP mode instead?

my network is pretty reliable... around 60 devices over the 2 wifi networks and Ethernet connections.

Use them as access points only. I'm a network engineer myself, and to be honest, these things are pretty terrible as actual routers. I run an SMB Omada setup for full control, and it's made a huge difference in reliability and performance. Yes, it means managing two GUIs, but with the Decos in AP mode, you don’t really need to keep tabs on them much — they just do their job as dumb access points. Hope this helps a bit!

  @TP-Link A Web UI with more options would be fanstastic. I have a Deco X55, love it and other Deco models as I work IT, however I can not give more than a 3 out of 5 ratings because the App is so frustrating to use, barely functions most of the time, has extremely limited information and settings, and overall its kinda a nightmare to work with.

  @TP-Link Even after several years still a valid comment from various users. Especially people managing multiple networks are in desperate need of web based Gui and/or a PC/MAC based app and not only an Android/IOS app. There are a lot of people out here that have way more knowledge on networks and want to be able to manage their networks in a proper way.

You've asked for comments on why we as users wanted to have such interface and already several years people have been requesting it. Your hardware is OK, but the software lacks what users want. Isn't listening to customers a prime objective? Take Sonos as an example.... They didn't listen #NeedISayMore

  @whywontulisten

@tplink : STOP PASTING THE SAME BS IDIOTIC TEXT FOR YOUR BS MARKETING ATTEMPT FOR THE RIDICULOUS APP AND FOR NOT LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMERS.

YOUR APP IS NOT USABLE NOR HAS THE ADEQAUTE FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITIES FOR ADVANCED NETWORK CONFIGURATIONS!

i AM ALSO RETURNING YOUR PRODUCT, SOLELY BECAUSE OF THIS RIDICULOUS MOVE ON TPLINK PART OF ELIMINATING THE ABILITY TO DO NETWORK SETUP AND MANAGEMENT FROM THE BROWSER!

Just like everyone else here, we want to configure our networks via web browser and not phone app.

  @bohrOnyx

I have been using TP link hardware for a long time now. this deco product just seems like a data hording scam.

I say this only because it is impossible to manage the unit without a tp-link account??! ridicules!

It is very unfortunet.

I created this account just for this comment and now i will start de-commisioning my tp-link devices.

  @TP-LinkIt is absolutely ridiculous notion that everyone is exclusively performing everything on their mobile phone.Those of us, who like to have complete control over our network and assign static IP addresses and do other advanced configurations: we don't want to do it on the phone, we do it on a computer.

Additionally: on your phone app: it is actually not even possible to manually assign IP addresses to any of the devices, it is an absolute and horrid nightmare....the app that is...

Whoever thought that completely eliminating the advanced router configuration options from a computer's browser should be fired immediately....

This is the reason why I am returning your mesh router..... I can't work with this.....

  @TP-Link I just bought the AXE5400 Pro and will be returning it due to the lack of web UI.
