I am losing packets every 20-25 pings for my TL-WPA4220 5.0.

 

I have updated the firmware to: 1.0.1 Build 210305 Rel.64377n (6985/8575) - UK edition

 

No change. 

 

Help please.

Just found the issue, my DHCP server was causing it:

 

 

 INFO 0days, 00:50:19, DHCPC: Recv OFFER from server 192.168.0.3 with ip 192.168.0.50

4 INFO 0days, 00:50:19, DHCPC: Send REQUEST to server 192.168.0.3 with request ip 192.168.0.50

5 INFO 0days, 00:50:20, DHCPC: Recv ACK from server 192.168.0.3 with ip 192.168.0.50 lease time 7200

6 INFO 0days, 00:50:50, DHCPC: ===========DHCP Server config has been changed!!!============

7 INFO 0days, 00:50:54, DHCPC: Recv OFFER from server 192.168.0.3 with ip 192.168.0.50

8 INFO 0days, 00:50:54, DHCPC: Send REQUEST to server 192.168.0.3 with request ip 192.168.0.50

9 INFO 0days, 00:50:55, DHCPC: Recv ACK from server 192.168.0.3 with ip 192.168.0.50 lease time 7200

 

This was causing hitting the IP address of my TP-WPA device.

 

Case solved!

May I know does the issue occur after power outage or wifi router reboot? 

Please close unnecessary apps when do the ping test. 

You could try the  firmware for TL-WPA4220 (EU) V5 uin below thread and set up static IP address for TL-WPA4220 and see if that helps improve the performance.

Can I know how do you do the ping test , did you ping router or any address when device connected to TL-WPA4220?
