Model: Archer VR2100v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 0.9.1 v009e.0

Hi just wondering if anyone has successfully managed to connect their Nodephone voip service with the vr2100v

Ive tried the basic settings with nodephone, phone number and password, and have also tried using "other" and filling in the required fields, but cant get the connected tick.  I get a dial tone and the phone makes the dialing sounds when I try to ring out, but it wont connect. All I get is a long beep sound.  Also can not call the voip phone from another phone.

Is there any way to make this work, or is this router just not compatible with internode voip ?

Thanks

Just updating as I have managed to get this working.

For anyone else using internode and having the same problem, in the telephony provider choose   OTHER dont choose nodephone as those settings dont work.

Add your phone number to both the phone number and the authentication id fields, add the internode sip address to the registrar address field, and finally your password.

I didnt need to change any other settings and my voip service is now working perfectly.

  @TrishD Thank you very much for the feedback.

Could you please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following information:

1. Some screenshots of your VOIP configuration.

2. The system log from the web UI

Thanks David, here are the screenshots, Im not sure how to upload the log as its several pages long.  I saved it and tried to upload it as a file, but it failed to upload.  The phone is a panasonic kx-TGD320al .  I did just now read a post that said internode/tpg/iinet somehow lock their voip service to only work with the routers they supply, so maybe this is the issue.

  @TrishD

Thank you very much for the update.

I would like to forward your case to the senior engineers for further assistance and please check whether you have got an email from me.

As for the post you have mentioned internode/tpg/iinet somehow lock their voip service to only work with the routers they supply, can I have a link of that?(you could send me a private message if the forum did not allow posting it, thank you.). I only see a discussion that was 3 years ago.

  @David-TP

Thanks yes I get an email when you reply in the forum.

Unfortunately I cannot find that link as I didnt save it. It may have been an old post, I didnt check the date.

Im not too worried if I cant get the voip going for the moment as our town is getting an upgrade to fttp sometime this year and hopefully the phone will work with that.  I was just asking on the community in case someone had been able to connect their voip with different settings.

Thanks again your help is much appreciated. :-)
