  @MauroSiembida

Hi, can I have the model number of your Deco?

Most Deco supports "IoT network". It is 2.4GHz and could use a different SSID.

TP-Link IoT Network

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

This feature would be so helpful.

My devices are so hard to set up with the bands combined.

I have had nothing but trouble with my tp-link units - such a lot of money wasted on a terrible product.

Since i bought these, I've spent more time configuring, resetting and reconnecting everything in my house over and over.  Turing bands on and off to try and connect different devices, then having to reset every and try to reconnect.  They have been miserable to use

Suddenly my separate 5G and 6G ssids are gone on my deco and I am forced to have them combined into one or play this game with IoT and guest.  Just spent a day on a ladder re-setting up cameras and security devices.  THE LAST TP-LINK product I ever purchase just because of this.  Unilaterally change a products usefulness in a major way and impact the safety of customers without any prior notice...that's the way to show your customers you just don't care about them at all.

Hi, welcome to the community.

I don't think the report issue has anything to do with the feature request here. If you need further help, it is recommended to start a new thread here with the model number as well as other details.

You can have separate SSIDs for 2.4GHz and 5GHz, not just when they are under the same Network.

In other words, you can have SSID#1 for the Main WiFi Network( only 5GHz enabled), SSID#2 for the IoT network( only 2.4GHz enabled), and SSID#3 for the 6GHz network.

We always value user feedback. It's just not necessary when you can already have separate SSIDs for different WiFi bands by enabling different wireless frequencies for each network.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
